Peel a squash, grate it and chop the onion.

In a bowl we put the meat and rice that we have salted well in advance.

My dear, you are phenomenal. Guess what I have on the stove? Stuffed peppers. The recipe is exactly like yours, but unfortunately for me I saw your recipe with bulgur too late, mine are classics, with rice. We haven't had time to make the broth from Salaj yet, but Sven saw it and decided that he would make it tomorrow. But I cheated terribly today for the sauce to approach the broth. So in the filling I added onions and in the sauce the other vegetables from the broth. We just put dill instead of parsley as we are fanatical of stuffed pepper dill. It's my mother's fault and Sven doesn't want anything else. We turned out very good, we really liked it and we will remake the recipe with bulgur. Thank you!

may. scald the bulgur for a few minutes in water (maximum 5), drain it well and then put it in the filling.

yes, they have a high consistency. in fact, it is the same with the stuffed cabbage rolls, much denser, but in a pleasant way. that's why they are my favorites of all sarmales. now I have discovered in my grandmother another traditional variant that has won second place in our hearts. I think so, especially if you didn't put a lot of rice. so that the filling does not come out too dry. bulgur is harsher than rice.

I remember when my mother took them out of the oven, so browned, with that sweet and thick sauce. Well, the traditional recipe means mixed minced meat, pork and beef, it includes some sugar, but also some flour. And in some areas of the country they are fried a little in oil. A real heat bomb, which many run away from. I really like them, and because I can't resist them, I adapted the recipe, and so I filled them with care for my health and figure. It really is possible, and believe me, until you try them, they are just as tasty!

Ingredients (for 10 medium peppers):

  • 10 red bell peppers (they are much sweeter than green ones)
  • 1 casserole whole or chopped turkey breast (between 1kg & # 8211 1.3kg)
  • 1/2 cup rice with round cob
  • 1 yellow onion

  • 1 liter of tomato juice or mashed tomatoes

Stuffed peppers

12 -15 bell peppers
500-600g minced turkey meat
4 tablespoons rice
1 or
2 medium onions
1 carrot
2 tablespoons tomato paste
500ml broth
100ml oil
3 tomatoes
1 tablespoon flour
chopped green parsley
Salt pepper

The peppers are cleaned and scalded. Cut the onion into small pieces, clean it and put the carrot on the small grater. Chop the dill and parsley leaves. Put the onion to harden, add the carrot, then the rice. Stir and then add the meat, greens, salt, pepper and beaten egg.

Recipe Donuts stuffed with turkey meat

Every fall, I definitely do recipe of donuts stuffed with turkey meat , which is wonderful, at least once, if not several times, until the donuts disappear. It has a special sweetness from meaty donuts, and turkey meat is light and tasty, without cholesterol. Although I don't kill myself after chopping, I can say that it is my favorite recipe. I suffer that there are no donuts all year round. But what is good is harder to find and more precious.

I published this recipe written a long time ago and I promised that as soon as I prepare this recipe again, I will publish the video recipe. Yesterday I found the first donuts of this year and I immediately thought of this wonderful recipe, because the first thing that comes to mind when I see donuts, is the recipe for donuts stuffed with turkey meat, because I like it extremely, extremely much their taste incredibly good !!

So I keep my promise and now I can publish the video recipe in the following and I hope it will be very useful and prepare these wonders without any reservations! Guaranteed, you will love it !!

  • 10 -12 red and beautiful donuts
  • 1 kg minced turkey meat
  • 2 large onions
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • chopped greens - dill and parsley
  • 750 ml of tomato juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • a tablespoon of turmeric
  • a tablespoon of thyme
  • a sprig of rosemary
  • 2 was dafin

WRITTEN RECIPE & # 8211 donuts stuffed with turkey meat :

We prepare the donuts first, as follows:
The donuts must be beautiful, a little more info, that is, rounder, not flattened at the top, fleshy, healthy and about the same size.
We take the donuts, we cut the lids of their tails slightly with a sharp knife and we take out the seeds and the venous part carefully, so that we don't slap them, we wash them well and we put them upside down, so that the water drains from them.

I always keep the cut lids next to each donut and use it after filling them with meat, because they are very tasty as they are easily crispy in the oven. Tomato lids are good, too, but I prefer the donut.

We prepare the filling for donuts stuffed with turkey meat, so :

Wash the rice well until the water remains clean and keep it in cold water to activate the seed, until we prepare the other ingredients. By eliminating the rice flour, we avoid the rice sticking and the meat from being stuffed inside the donut after baking. That's why I think it's very wrong to put in the stuffing for peppers and egg sarmale to bind, as I've seen in other recipes & # 8230

Finely chop the onion, as for the soup, with a knife.

Finely chop the greens - dill and parsley.

Put a large pan on the fire, add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan, put the onion in salt for 2-3 minutes until soft, but do not let it brown. Drain the rice and pour it over the onion, mix a little to cover the oil, add a cup of hot water over the rice in the pan, no more, do not boil at all, add a tablespoon of turmeric, thyme and rosemary and let it boil covered until the rice swells a little and there is no more water.

Turmeric gives a beautiful color to rice and is a good detoxifier. I use it in almost all my dishes, especially in those with rice, soups, stews, fillings, cakes, crème de cake. It is found in any Plafar, has no taste of its own, does not change the taste of food and does not leave a bitter taste .

Add a cup (250 ml) of tomato juice, let it boil a little until the tomato juice is absorbed in the composition. Turn off the heat and add the finely chopped greens.

Add the semi-cooked rice, after it has been used in the bowl, over the minced turkey meat (chicken or pork also works BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME TASTE), mix until the composition is homogenous, season with salt and pepper to taste.

We take a donut and fill it with a teaspoon, pressing a little stuffing at the bottom of the donut to go into all the depths, but we do not fill it in excess because, when boiling the rice will swell a little.

Then we put the lids on the donut with the tail up and place them all, one next to the other in a larger oven tray. Pour into the pan a cup of water, a little oil and tomato juice (a large cup or more depending on the size of the tray) and sprinkle with finely chopped or dried green herbs, 2 bay leaves, a few peppercorns and a pinch of salt.

Put the tray in the oven at 220 degrees for about 40 minutes, until the donuts on top are slightly browned. We are careful not to drop the juice from the tray so that it does not burn. I put a little more tomato juice to keep the sauce that I serve next to the donut on the plate.

Donuts stuffed with turkey meat serve hot, with sour cream on top. They are very, very good, they have a sweet taste from the wonderful donuts !! yami, yami .. they look good and they are delicious.

If you have prepared several, they can be kept in the refrigerator in a yena tray, covered with a lid after they have cooled completely. Sprinkle the greens over them, the dill brings an extra flavor to the baked donuts.

I always do more, to stay for the next day !! I'm not tired of them anymore!

Peppers stuffed with pork

Peppers stuffed with pork & # 8211 a light, tasty and filling recipe. The filling can differ depending on everyone's tastes, you can use turkey, chicken or you can turn it into a fasting recipe, in which rice is the main ingredient.


  • 700 g minced pork
  • 10 & # 8211 12 peppers
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 3 tablespoons broth
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 tablespoons oil

Preparation & # 8211 Peppers stuffed with pork:

1. Peel the onion and carrot, put them on a small grater and heat them in hot oil. When the onion and carrot have softened, add the minced meat.

2. Heat it for a few minutes (4-5 minutes), until it changes color, then add the rice that I boiled before 5 minutes, season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Wash the peppers, cut the lid and clean the seeds.

4. Make the sauce from 3 peeled tomatoes and cut into small pieces, broth, 400 ml of water, salt and pepper.

5. In a pot, place the peppers that I filled with the prepared meat composition, but leave room at the top, about a finger so that the filling does not come out when the rice swells, then put the lids on top. Pour the sauce into the pot to cover half the pepper.

6. Let them cook first on the stove for 30 minutes, then put them in the oven for about 40 minutes. They can be served with sour cream.


Stuffed pepper is one of my favorite foods. I often cook recipes from Slovak cuisine due to the fact that my husband is not used to our food and every time he turns up his nose when I offer him something from Romanian cuisine. In the end, if I get upset and prepare that food, he likes it and eats it with gusto.
Stuffed peppers are most often prepared, both from fresh peppers in summer and from frozen peppers in winter. This recipe is made from frozen peppers and was cooked in February 2012. Although the photos are ugly, even so, I will post the recipe considering that it is part of me, my kitchen and my blog.

INGREDIENT: For the filling: 1 kg of turkey breast
1 suitable onion
2-3 tablespoons grated rice
4 tablespoons tomato juice (from the 500 g of sauce)
1 or
salt and pepper to taste
green parsley
2-3 tablespoons flour

For the sauce: 2 matching onions
500 ml of tomato juice
salt and pepper to taste
green parsley or dill
fried onion oil

We cut the caps of the peppers and clean them inside of seeds and ribs. Cut the caps of the peppers into cubes and use them in the sauce. In this case we used frozen peppers that we take out of the freezer when the filling is ready. If it thaws the peppers soften and it is harder to fill them.
We fill each pepper with meat and since I will not put the lids on them, I dip them in the flour to make sure that the meat will not come out of the pepper. even though it never flowed to me, that's how I got used to it.

The peppers being stuffed, we will prepare the sauce.
Fry the diced onion in hot oil. When it is golden, add the remaining pieces of pepper from the lids and sauté. Add the tomato sauce and when it starts to boil, place the stuffed peppers in the pot.

Fill with enough water to cover the peppers, salt to taste and add finely chopped parsley or dill.
